We believe in God the Father as Creator of Heaven and Earth. We believe in Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of the world – being the Son of God and the Son of man, and the only way to salvation. We believe that He left the Holy Spirit to dwell within us. We believe that the Bible is the inerrant word of God. We believe in “The Great Commission” and desire to live that out by loving others as Christ loved us.

VISION:

We employ staff, and accept as volunteers, people who adhere to and have a complete understanding of our Statement of Faith.  Our vision is to continue a 50-year history of helping people restore their emotional lives through a renewed personal relationship with God. We attempt always to pray about and be led by God’s promptings as He unfolds His perfect plan to help His people find the peace and joy that only He can bring. He continually gives us new opportunities of serving that remain within our mission statement but offer new ways to serve His people.

CORE VALUES: GOD’S CALL ON HOPE ALIVE

1. To be a ministry which expresses in word and behavior the high value God has put on every human life.
2. To depend on God as our source and the Bible as our guide.
3. To hold firmly to the promises of God and never abandon our hope.
4. To maintain integrity of Heart – individually and as a ministry – that we may be a people after God’s own heart.
5. To value ongoing learning – both formal and informal – as an important aid to understanding and ministering to hurting people.
6. To look for God’s anointing and call on each and every person serving at Hope Alive.
7. To be united in the Great Commission where God has put us, remaining relevant and doctrinally pure.

CORE VALUES: HOW WE ARE CALLED TO “WALK THOSE OUT”

1. Being devoted to prayer as foundational and growth individually in our relationship with God.
2. Being unified and interdependent on each other, utilizing the giftings of one another for the greater good of each of those we serve.
3. Valuing each person, be it others in ministry or those we are serving, knowing that we are called to “Love each person where they are.”
4. Creating a place of safety and hope, where intimacy is fostered, confidentially is honored, and accountability without condemnation is the benchmark.
5. Equipping people with a knowledge and a thirst for “The Word” so as to empower them to grow in His Truth.
6. Being obedient in all things we do, seeking always what, when, and how He would have things done and sacrificially doing what He asks, even if it appears illogical.
7. Committing to excellence as measured by The Bible which honors God and inspires others to do likewise.
8. Seeking above all to be “Christ” to others, and always making Him and His love the focus, GIVING HIM ALL THE GLORY!!
